Community Work on Pangkor Island
Dr Tan, an Associate Professor in Multimedia University, received his first degree in 1998 at the University of Malaya, the oldest university in Malaysia. He is a recipient of J. William Fulbright Award 2012/2013 and was a Research Associate at the Colorado State University. Since returning home, Dr Tan has been volunteering at his home town in Pulau Pangkor teaching English at a local youth center.
