Testing Services
MACEE’s testing office plays an important role in coordinating and/or administering many American standardized and professional examinations for various programs. This service is aimed at Malaysian students who wish to enroll in the U.S. and other nation’s institutes of higher education. Listed below are the examinations that MACEE administers and/or coordinates.
The TOEFLŪ Test
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings. The Information and Registration Bulletin contains information about the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL PBT is available in the Test Takers section of the TOEFL website at www.ets.org/toefl.
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Testing) is delivered via the Internet. It emphasizes integrated skills and helps confirm that you are ready to communicate your ideas about what you will read and listen to in your academic courses. Please contact Prometric for registration information.

GRE Paper-based General Test administrations are offered in areas of the world where computer-based testing is not available. It is offered on the following dates:

GRE Subject Tests are paper-based tests in eight subject areas. Subject Tests measure achievement in specific subject areas and assume undergraduate majors or extensive background in those disciplines. It is offered on the following dates:

Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT®)

The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) consist of two parts: a brief essay, and multiple choice aptitude
test which measures the ability to solve mathematics problems, to use language and to comprehend what is read. The test is administered on two levels:
Lower (for students currently in grades 5-7)
Upper (for students in grades 8-11)

The College Board's Advanced Placement Program (AP) gives an opportunity for students to pursue college-level studies while still in secondary school. Through this program, students may earn credit, advanced placement, or both for college. The program produces many publications and resources that can provide in-depth information about AP.
