About the Fulbright Program
Grants for Malaysians

The objective of the grant is not only to enable the recipient to pursue a particular field of study but to develop leaders who can contribute to promoting better understanding between the U.S. and Malaysia.

In pursuit of the objectives of the above program, MACEE provides a number of grants under various program categories, to Malaysians, to conduct research, teach, or study in their respective host countries.

2009-10 Fulbright M'sian Graduate Study and Research Prog


This program will allow Malaysian students to pursue a Master's or a PhD level degree at an American university in the various fields. Please click here for more information.

2009-10 International Fulbright Science and Technology Prog


The International Fulbright Science and Technology Award for outstanding Malaysian Students provides talented students with an opportunity to pursue Ph.D. study at top U.S. universities. Sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, the Award is designed to be the most prestigious international scholarship in science and technology. 2008-09 Direct Access To Muslim World CLOSED!


The Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange is pleased to invite you to apply for the Fulbright Visiting Specialists Program: Direct Access to the Muslim World. Candidates selected will be placed on the Program Roster and may be requested by U.S. colleges and universities to conduct intensive three to six weeks programs of teaching, lecturing and public outreach on topics in Islamic civilization and developments in the Muslim World. 2009-10 Fulbright Malaysian Scholar Program


Malaysian citizens with a Ph.D degree currently residing in Malaysia and are engaged in an academic capacity in institutions of higher learning are eligible to apply for this award. The grant allows successful applicants to conduct research and occasional lecturing at appropriate American universities for up to eight months. Please click here for more information.

2008-09 Ful. Foreign Language Teaching Assist. Prog CLOSED!


Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE) is pleased to announce the FY 2008 competition for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant  (FLTA) program. The Fulbright FLTA Program is an integral part of the Fulbright Student Program and is a key component of the United States National Security Language Initiative(NSLI). NSLI will dramatically increase the number of Americans learning critical-need foreign languages to promote understanding, and convey respect for other cultures. Please click here for details.

2009-10 Fulbright Malaysian Professional Exchange Program
 


Grants under this program are meant for Malaysian professional to broaden their experience through consultation, internship and other professional enrichment programs at relevant organizations in the United States for a period of three to six months. Managers of organizations, associations or service industries are eligible for these awards. Please click here for details.
